This tour is a brief about Castro in which, accompanied by a local guide we will visit some of its most iconic points.
Departing from your hotel we´ll visit the “Feria Yumbel” the local food market where we will be able to marvel at the wide range of local and organic products from Chiloé´s field: big garlics, native potato varieties, and all kinds of vegetables, plus cheeses and the reshest seafood in the area.
Then come to the square and from there we will walk to the regional museum with excellent information about the settlement and development of the archipelago.
later we´ll see the Church of San Francisco, one of the 16 churches recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Finally a short visit to the “Palafitos” before to go to Chonchi to visit it church, also declared as World Heritage Site.
